Put the power of an attorney who's been a Judge's Assistant and Deputy District Attorney on YOUR side.
Though he is now an independent criminal defense attorney, the road that brought Chris Sohovich to running his own practice has been a long one. He began by earning a criminal justice degree in the year 2003 from Ohio State University, and in 2006 he earned his Juris Doctorate from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. While he was studying for his second degree Chris clerked for both a Superior Court judge and a State Appellate judge, which gave him his first behind-the-scenes look at what the individuals presiding over cases look for in defendants, attorneys, and in cases.
Armed with the tools he needed to enter the field of law, Chris took a job with the Riverside, California District Attorney’s office. Within three months he’d begun moving up the ranks, exchanging a caseload that was largely misdemeanors for one which was entirely made up of felony trial cases. Though he experienced great success, Chris left the DA’s office after two years to open the independent practice that he now pursues to this day.
How The Other Half Works
One of the things that makes Chris Sohovich such a desirable defense attorney for those who require representation is that he knows how the prosecution operates. He’s been on the other side of the courtroom, and he knows what questions they’re going to ask before they even ask them. That gives him, and his clients an advantage that not all defense attorneys can provide.
That isn’t the only reason that Chris Sohovich is sought out by those facing criminal charges, though. He has thousands of cases under his belt, and he’s familiar with all of the laws and all of the legal players in Southern California. This means that not only do clients get a well-educated and experienced defense attorney, but they get one who knows all of the laws and all of the individuals he’ll be interacting with throughout the case. That is no small achievement, and it’s one reason that Mr. Sohovich is so highly sought out by those who require his services.
If you or someone you know needs a highly competent defense attorney because they’ve been charged with a criminal offense, don’t wait. Call Chris at 619-326-8161!
